Dear One:
Thank you for registering for the upcoming Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) course. We look forward to meeting you and starting our adventure into the concepts and practices that will likely help you start living your life in the moment instead of just thinking about your life. We honor the commitment you have made to turn towards yourself, as a great act of courage and kindness. We will discover what is possible as we accompany one another on the journey of what it means to be an open, sensitive, and alive human being.
The course details are provided on the website where you completed your registration. This includes location address, dates, and time of day. We need some time to arrange the room so please try not to arrive any sooner than 15 minutes prior to the start time.
We will provide chairs and some zafu cushions to sit on, but please feel free to bring whatever material would help you be comfortable (cushions, folding chairs, blankets, pillows, etc.). There are no restrictions on this, and it is acceptable to sit, lie down, or whatever works for you. Your comfort is the main objective. We will also provide bottled water, hot tea options, and some light snacks. We will take a formal break about halfway through each class.
Previous participants have experienced great benefits from this course, and you will likely have a similar experience. It will be unlike anything you have done before. So you have already made an important step on the path to self-compassion by registering for the course. Congratulations.
